Each year there are over a thousand serious workplace accidents in the UK resulting from incorrect use of Ladders and Step Ladders, and many of these could be avoided if there was more emphasis on Ladder Safety Training.

This category includes courses related to the safe use of ladders and step ladders and includes courses approved by the Ladder Association.

Course Detail

Ladder Safety Training courses will vary in their content, but they are typically short courses such as:

Ladder Association courses such as Low-Level Steps, Ladder Inspection and Step Ladder training.
NPORS courses including Safe Working at Height and Harness & Fall Arrest.
Training on the Legislative framework relating to Ladder Safety including the Working at Heights Regulations and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations

Carrying, positioning, and securing ladders
