SMART Awards Courses

SMART Awards is an awarding body working in a number of sectors but principally within the telecommunication industry, where it is leading the development of new qualifications. All telecommunications engineers working on the Openreach network are now required to hold a Smart Awards Network Operative Passport Scheme (NOPS) card. The NOPS card registers all of the engineers accreditations on a single card.

SMART Awards courses are delivered via a network of approved providers and the Network Operative Passport Scheme is managed and administered by SMART Awards. Workforce data relating to NOPS can be accessed electronically
