There are 4 different categories of basic IPAF Operator training course, these being:
Courses within thiis category are for those who only wish to sit one category in a training course at a time.
Undertaking thorough training to work on mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) such as scissor lifts, booms and outriggers is essential to ensure the safety of all personnel in the area, as well as ensuring compliance with the law.

Course content will vary based on the specific category chosen. However, all 4 categories share common themes, and will typically include:
Courses can be run at a registered IPAF training centre or at a customer’s premises, as long as the venue and equipment meet pre-requisite requirements.
As well as conventional courses where delegates attend the course to study both the theory and practical elements, a blended course option is now available where the theory aspect of this course is completed online. Delegates will then attend the training centre for the practical aspect of the course.
Successful delegates will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training and IPAF PAL Photo ID Card, which is valid for 5 years.
