IPAF MEWPs for Managers

The IPAF MEWPs for Managers Course aims to instruct managers, foremen, or supervisors on what is needed to prepare for and safely co-ordinate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) within their control. It is also relevant to anyone who is responsible for planning and overseeing the use of MEWPs in connection with their work, in construction, facilities management, retail, airports and a range of other industries.

Comprehensive training on this type of equipment is vital due to the safety considerations of working at height and with powered machinery. In addition, it is essential that all operators are compliant with UK regulations that surround the use of MEWPs (such as the Working at Height Regulations) and can operate the machinery safely and efficiently.

IPAF Course Detail

This course is important for anyone involved with planning and overseeing operations involving Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs). This is not an operational qualification, but it does give delegates the knowledge required to manage operators using these machines.

Course Delivery

Successful delegates will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training which is valid for 5 years, and for those who hold a PAL Card the new category can be added.
