IPAF Loading and Unloading Training Courses

This IPAF Safe Loading and Unloading course is aimed at those involved in loading, transportation, and unloading of plant machinery, and ensuring that these processes are undertaken safely and with responsible procedures at all times.

IPAF Course Detail

The IPAF Safe Loading and Unloading course lasts either one or two days depending on machine category. It includes strong element of interactive theory as well as practical training, including:

• Safe loading, unloading and securing of plant machinery onto suitable vehicles
• The relationship between methods of work and legal requirements
• Hazard identification and control measures to prevent accidents
• Appropriate PPE, risk assessments and inspections

The course is assessed through multi-choice Q&A as well as a practical assessment.

Course Delivery

Delegates for the IPAF Safe Loading and Unloading training course must hold a valid IPAF PAL Operator Card or MEWP operator licence. Successful delegates will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training and IPAF PAL Photo ID Card, which is valid for 5 years.
