The content covered focuses around changes in techniques used in first aid and gives attendees the chance to carry these out in a safe, controlled environment with a trainer present. Their skills will be assessed, and they will need to answer questions designed to test their knowledge, both current and new.
A range of different areas are covered in this first aid training course including:
This course will take place over 3 hours and delegates will be expected to undertake practical exercises in simulated emergency situations to practice both old and new first aid skills.
Please note that all candidates must be able to undertake practical activities such as lying down and kneeling to simulate a potential emergency situation
