EUSR course relate to the Energy & Utility Skills Register. EUSR Passport schemes are entry-level training programmes relating to the energy and utilities sectors, which have been developed in collaboration with employers within the specific sectors.
There are various schemes relating to different industry sectors.They provide a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across a range of industry types working with the utilities sector.
There are different modules within the EUSR training scheme. The SHEA Core Module, is non-industry specific whereas SHEA Sector courses, relate specifically to different industries in the utilities sector.
SHEA EUSR ID Cards display the CSCS logo, which gives the card holder individual access to sites operating under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).

EUSR registration for a specific sector programme lasts for either three or five years depending on the SHEA scheme.
Note: If an individual already holds a SHEA registration on EUSR for a specific scheme and then needs to add an additional sector, there is an option to undertake a reduced programme of training and assessment for the new sectors elements, allowing them to add on an additional SHEA registration to their existing registration.
The EUSR National Water Hygiene Scheme covers issues such as health and hygiene awareness and contamination risks when working on clean water sites, water treatment plants, or works on the water network. Registration on this scheme is needed for access to the operational and restricted sites, of all UK Water Companies.
