EUSR Training - SHEA Telecommunications Course

The EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) Telecommunications programme is part of the larger Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) suite. It has been developed for those involved in operational activities with the telecoms industry, including supervisors, managers and operatives who need the EUSR card to access sites, including permanent and temporary sites.

This course is sometimes referred to as the “EUSR SHEA Telecoms course”.

Course Detail

The SHEA Telecommunications course consists of the 6 SHEA core modules plus an additional contextualised module specific to the Telecommunications scheme. The additional industry specific module relates to working on highways and excavations.

Delegates need to complete all 7 modules and pass the SHEA Telecommunications assessment to achieve an EUSR Registration which is valid for 3 years.

Course content includes:

Six core modules common to all utility industries, forming the basis of health, safety and environmental law and practices.
Additional specific module to the Telecoms industry, covering work on the highways and excavations.
Workplace responsibilities, hazards and risks
Responding to emergencies.
