The EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) Power training course is part of the larger Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) suite. It has been developed for Supervisors, Managers and Operatives who work within the Power Industry who need the EUSR card to get on-site for their occupation, including permanent and temporary sites.
Training to work on the power network is essential for ensuring the safety of personnel, maintaining the reliability of power systems, complying with regulations, and adapting to the evolving landscape of the energy industry.
The SHEA Power course consists of 8 modules; 6 of which are classed as “core” and 2 are specific to the Power industry. Delegates need to complete all eight modules and pass the SHEA Power assessment to achieve the EUSR SHEA Power registration.
Those who successfully complete the requirements of the EUSR SHEA Power scheme training course and assessment will achieve an EUSR registration, which is valid for five years.

EUSR - SHEA Power courses are delivered in both online classroom and conventional classroom-based environments across the UK.
Delegates need to complete all eight modules and pass the SHEA Power assessment to achieve the EUSR SHEA Power registration. Those who successfully complete the requirements of the EUSR SHEA Power scheme training course and assessment will achieve an EUSR registration, which is valid for five years. There is a half day renewal option for those who need to renew their Registration after 5 years have elapsed.
Please note that to be eligible for the SHEA Power Renewal course, your SHEA must be in date on the day of training.
