This category of Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) training course is aimed at persons who will be using the Telescopic Handler 360 Slew on construction sites. Formally known as category A17D, the A77 category was created by the CPCS awarding body in 2018 due to the need for candidates to have more thorough training and testing on the 360 Slew.
This Foundation course is typically five days in duration and is suitable for those with little or no experience on the machine.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a Trained Operator (Red) CPCS card which is valid for two years.
Please note that candidates must have successfully completed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test for Operatives within the past two years in order to attend this course. Candidates who then wish to enhance their CPCS certification and progress to the Blue (Competent Operator) CPCS Card will need to undertake and pass further CPCS training within these 2 years.

The A77 telehandler training course aims to instruct delegates how to lift, transfer and suspend loads up to maximum extension, at full working height and using full slewing capabilities.
