Passing the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment test within the last two years is a requirement to book onto all CPCS courses.
Candidates can choose between Foundation/Novice and Experienced Worker skill level courses. The Foundation course is longer in length and covers topics in more depth as this is tailored for candidates who have less than 2 years’ experience in their role as Compact Crane operator. Experienced Worker courses are shorter in length and are aimed at those who have more than 2 years recent and consistent experience operating Compact Cranes.
Those who successfully pass this CPCS course will be awarded the Red CPCS Card (Trained Operator) in this category. This can then be upgraded to the Blue CPCS Card (Competent Operator) for this category within 2 years of course completion. If this time limit is exceeded, operators will need to resit this category of CPCS training to obtain their Red CPCS card again.
If you are a private individual, please read CPCS Training and the Private Individual before making a booking for this or any other CPCS category. The implications for those wishing to undertake CPCS certification privately are very different to a business. If you have any further questions, please give us a call.
All endorsement and skill levels of this CPCS A66 training course finish with the CPCS theory and practical technical test, which must be completed within an hour and forty-five minutes and will consist of the candidate using the machine to complete a variety of activities and manoeuvres including lifting and placing loads.
