The CPCS A15 Side Loader Forklift training course is aimed at operators of Side Loader Forklift trucks in a construction environment. Candidates will need to have sat and passed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test for Operatives within the past two years.
Course content is suitable for both novice and experienced operators of Side Loader Forklifts but is split into two different CPCS courses; one for foundation/novice operators, and one for experienced workers, with over 2 years’ experience operating the machine.
Successful delegates of either course level will gain the CPCS red card (trained operator), which is valid for 2 years in the side loader forklift training category. Candidates who hold this CPCS card can then register to complete the NVQ level 2 to obtain the Blue Competent Operators CPCS card.
Please note, private individuals looking to obtain a CPCS card for a Forklift Side Loader should click on the following link CPCS Training and the Private Individual before making a specific enquiry relating to a Forklift Side Loader training course, as the implications are very different to those applying who work with a CITB registered construction company.
Please note that for all CPCS tests, candidates must have successfully completed the CSCS Health, Safety and Environment touchscreen test for Operatives within the past two years.
This CPCS training course is tailored to the level of experience of the operator, but both Foundation/Novice and Experienced Worker courses cover the same content; the Foundation/Novice course is longer to allow for practical training and further in-depth theory.
For all CPCS categories, the CPCS theory test is a verbal Q&A session which will take approximately an hour to complete. The CPCS practical test for the Side Loader Forklift must be completed within fifty minutes and will consist of the candidate using the machine to complete a variety of activities and manoeuvres including lifting and placing loads.
The CPCS (A15) Side Loader Forklift Training & Testing category may have open course dates from time to time but is generally run as a dedicated course. For more general help or further information please send an enquiry to enquiries@bookmycourse.co.uk.
