Remote delivery of the Temporary Works Supervisor course became an option when the CITB changed the scheme rules in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic to allow delivery of CITB Site Safety Plus Courses online in virtual classroom format.
This Temporary Works course online is typically one day in duration and is suitable for those who wish to supervise temporary works as defined in BS5975:2007 and A1:2011. This online course contains the same content as the traditional classroom version, but is delivered via video conferencing software. Candidates are expected to treat their time during this course as they would in a face-to-face environment.
It is important that candidates attending a CITB Temporary Works Supervisor (TWSTC) course have previous experience of temporary works. Those who do not have this, may benefit from attending a CITB (TWGATC) - Temporary Works General Awareness Training Course, although this is not essential for taking this course.
A number of our training providers have now rolled out their online offerings using Zoom or similar software options to achieve virtual classroom environments. To make an enquiry please click the grey enquiry button or for more general help or further information please send an enquiry to enquiries@bookmycourse.co.uk. This Temporary Works course online aims to train candidates to understand the need for Temporary Works Supervisors and what their duties will be. The course content is the same as that of the conventional classroom-based course but is delivered in an online classroom environment.
The assessment for this course is a multiple-choice test paper.
Delegates will be required to show original photographic identification via video link.
This Temporary Works course online will be remotely delivered by a tutor in a virtual online classroom and delegates must have access to a suitable PC, laptop, or tablet with a robust high-speed internet connection sufficient to cope with online delivery. Delegates will also need a suitably sized quiet room where they can carry out the course without interruptions.
Grants for this CITB training course are available to CITB Levy Payers.
