This CISRS course is a one-day programme aimed at anyone who uses scaffolding as part of their work or those who have responsibilities for managing site scaffolding operations. The Scaffolding Awareness Course is an ideal foundation course for those wishing to obtain an initial understanding of scaffolding operations. It will provide delegates with an informed appreciation of the potential dangers of working at height on scaffolds and help them to identify the essential components of a safe scaffold.
This course will also provide delegates with an insight into they should expect from scaffold contractors who are adopting best practices.
This course will not provide attendees with any knowledge relating to scaffold inspection.
There are no specific pre-requisites to attend this course, but CISRS recommend that delegates attending this course should have a basic understanding of construction and scaffolding environment.

Courses are delivered at CISRS training centres located across the UK, and centres undergo annual audits to ensure they continually meet CISRS Scheme criteria.
This course is not associate with any CISRS card. Delegates will be issued with a CISRS Scaffolding Awareness certificate upon successful completion of the course.
CISRS Scaffolding Awareness certificates do not have expiry dates.
