CDM Training courses in this category are related to the CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and are aimed at any individual involved in construction work who requires a clear understanding of their duties under these Regulations.
The regulations were originally introduced as the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM2007) with the main aim of making health and safety an integral part of the design, construction and management of projects. The CDM Regulations were then substantially revised on 6 April 2015. and at this point the role of CDM Co-ordinator was transferred to a Principal Designer and Principal Contractor. The Principal Designer is responsible for the pre-construction phase whilst the Principal Contractor is responsible for the construction phase.
The CDM courses in this category aim to train individuals about the CDM Regulations; there are a number of CDM courses under this category related to different job roles in construction and the legal duties on those working in these areas including:
Course types include CDM Awareness courses and specific courses aimed at those with specific roles under CDM.
