CCNSG - Renewal Courses

The CCNSG Renewal course is a one-day refresher course for those who hold a valid CCNSG Safety Passport. Candidates can attend a CCNSG Renewal course up to six months before their current card is due to expire. Once expired, candidates would need to attend the inital CCNSG National course to remain qualified.

This course is administered by accredited trainers at locations across the country, focusing on the need for high Health and Safety standards in a range of industries. It refreshes the information already covered in the full National course, as well as any updates to relevant legislation.

CCNSG Training Course Detail

This is a one-day CCNSG course that covers the basics of the content in the National course, updates and refreshes candidate’s knowledge of essential health and safety knowledge.

Successful delegates will be awarded a new CCNSG Safety Passport (also known as an ECITB Safety Passport as the scheme is accredited by the ECITB). This is valid for a further 3 years.

This course includes the following elements:

A range of different areas are covered in this CCNSG course including:

Updates on relevant legislation and safety practices
Hazard spotting and job safety analysis
Refresher on all areas covered in the National course including confined spaces, safe working practices, asbestos, environmental issues and permit to work systems

Course Delivery

This course will take place over one day and delegates will be expected to sit a multiple-choice examination at the end of the day. Successful candidates will receive temporary passports valid for six weeks until their new CCNSG Safety Passport card has arrived.
