The CCNSG Leading a Team Safely (LATS) course is a training course suitable for those working in a supervisory role, such as; team leaders, site managers and supervisors. Ensuring that people in these roles understand site safety lowers the risk to themselves and others, as they can then influence the behaviour of those in their team.
Please note that this is not an entry level course as delegates must hold a current CCNSG Safety Passport in order to be eligible.
This is a one-day CCNSG LATS course that focuses on how to lead a small team safely, communication skills and achieving safe outcomes. Individual topics will include leadership, planning and Health and Safety Management systems.
The course is assessed via a multiple-choice examination at the end of the day’s training. Successful candidates will receive an updated credit card sized Supervisor CCNSG safety Passport.

This CCNSG LATS course will take place over one day and delegates will be expected to sit a multiple-choice examination at the end.
The course itself involves a significant amount of delegate participation. In presenting the course, the trainer will talk with the trainees rather than at the trainees, giving the continuous message “if you cannot plan, measure and communicate then you cannot supervise!”
Upon successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a CCNSG Leading a Team Safely card which is valid for three years.
