The CITB Temporary Works Supervisor course aims to ensure that delegates develop a full understanding of the role of the temporary works supervisor and their legal duties and responsibilities, as well as focussing on the importance of communications and co-ordination in managing temporary works.
The course is supported by the Temporary Work Forum, CECA, UKCG, HSE and FMB.
Aims and Objectives
The course aims to give a clear understanding of the Temporary Works Supervisor role as well as emphasising the importance of risk management and communication.
This course is solely concerned with the process of the supervision of temporary works and is not a temporary works awareness course.
Prerequisites
Please note that each delegate is required to bring with them the following: Date of Birth, National Insurance Number and current CITB card (if applicable).
Delegates must have experience of management responsibility for temporary works. In addition, they must also have a good understanding of written and spoken English.
