Objectives
Delegates will be able to identify typical hold points, inspections and permits required as part of the management of temporary works on site and act under the guidance of the Temporary Works Coordinator.

Who Should Attend
Anyone on-site who has responsibility for supervising temporary works. The course will provide the delegate with a thorough knowledge of the role, including a sound understanding of temporary works.
Course Content
Delegates will gain knowledge and understanding of temporary works, role of the temporary works supervisor and the roles of others. The 1 day course covers the importance of communication, coordination, co-operation and competency, risk management, and safety and business relations. The course will also allow the Temporary Works Supervisor to have a detailed knowledge and understanding of BS5975 in respect of this role.
Outcomes
There will be a multiple choice test on completion of this course. Successful delegates will be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge and improved ability to supervise the temporary works process.
Delegate Preparation
There are no set entry requirements for this qualification, however, delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
