CITB Temporary Works Refresher Course (TWCTC-R)
Who should attend?
The TWCTC refresher one-day course, is aimed at learners who have completed the TWCTC or the TWCTC refresher in the last five years, or subsequent refresher course, and can provide proof of attendance.
Course information
Both the two-day Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course (TWCTC) and the one-day refresher course (TWCTC-R) are designed to help those who have responsibility for managing all forms of temporary works on site.
Overview of the Temporary Works Refresher Online Course
We deliver the Temporary Works Refresher course through interactive Video Online Learning, for those working remotely that wish to achieve their CITB TWCTC-R qualification. Delivered via a virtual classroom by one of our highly qualified and experienced CITB Site Safety Plus Temporary Works Tutors.
The Refresher course aims to bring health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The course includes a wide range of topics, many building on the previous two-day course programme.
The TWCTC refresher is a one-day course. Learners must attend the whole day and pass the end-of-course assessment (7.5 hours) to be eligible for certification.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the course you will receive an updated CITB TWCTC Certificate valid for 5 years. It takes approximately 6-8 weeks for the CITB to issue certification.
To ensure you keep your qualification valid, you must attend the 1 day TWCTC Refresher course before the expiry date of your existing certificate (there is no grace period available)
