The CITB SSSTS two day course is designed for foremen, first line managers, team leaders, and supervisors with supervisory responsibilities and a need to understand their legal duties within the construction industry. By having an understanding of your legal responsibilities, you can better contribute to your role. The SSSTS course is an ideal foundation for attaining a basic understanding of health & safety duties and responsibilities
for junior management in construction work.
Course contents: Site Supervisor Training Scheme - SSSTS
• The Health and Safety at Work Act
• Specific site issues that challenge supervisors on a daily basis
• Effective toolbox talks
• Supervision of occupational health
• Behavioural safety
Delegates must be able to read, write and understand English to attend the course.
Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course.
Duration and Assessment:
You will need to attend all Two days (Each delegate must be interactive throughout the course and pass a multiple-choice assessment)
When does my SSSTS certificate expire?
5 years (You must renew this qualification every five years by attending and passing the SSSTS Refresher course before your certificate expires)
