This 2 day course provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities.
This course if for people who have, or are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities.
Employers who are registered with CITB Construction Skills may be eligible for grant funding upon successful completion of this course.
This course provides an introduction to health and safety, welfare and environmental issues for those requiring an understanding of their legal responsibilities relevant to their work activities. It covers:
- The Health and Safety at Work Act and relevant regulations
- Specific site issues, which include such topics as working at height
- Tool box talks
- Control of subcontractors
- Health issues
