Objectives The course aims to ensure that all those given supervisory responsibilities continue to understand their identified duties and contribution to the safety in the workplace.

Who Should Attend This CITB Site Safety Plus course is suitable for those who have or who are about to acquire supervisory responsibilities, including gangers and charge-hands and who already hold a valid SSSTS certificate.
Course Content The course will the raise awareness of delegates to current health and safety trends and highlight the HSE’s enforcement agenda. Knowledge of recent developments in construction, legislation and health and safety, welfare and environmental issues will be explored. Measures that will assist the practical implementation of responsibilities established by new legislation and working practices will be identified during the course.
Outcomes Delegates will be continuously assessed via individual and group exercise, plus a multiple-choice test. 100% attendance is required for the final test. Successful delegates will be issued with a certificate valid for 5 years, after which another Refresher course may be undertaken.
The course is endorsed by the United Kingdom Group (UKCG) as the standard training for all supervisors working on UKCG sites.
Delegate Preparation Delegates must have a good understanding of spoken and written English and must hold a valid SSSTS certificate. Delegates will need to demonstrate a strong commitment to the course.
The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
