Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme - Refresher: Site Safety Plus
This is a one-day refresher of our full Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course.
Taking this course renews your SSSTS certificate. It updates your knowledge of your responsibilities for site safety, health, welfare and the environment.
You must complete this refresher before your certificate expires or you will need to re-take the full course.
Course content:
SSSTS Refresher course will cover:
- How health and safety law is structured
- How the supervisory role fits in with the managers role in controlling the site safely
- Understanding the need for method statements
- Communication routes with site activity
- Behavioural safety
- Supervision of occupational health
How long will it take me to achieve this qualification?
This qualification is usually achieved by taking a one day course.
How is the qualification assessed?
Delegates will be assessed using a multiple choice question format at the end of the course.
