SSSTS (CITB) Refresher – Site Supervisor Training – Online Classroom

The CITB SSSTS Refresher Course is designed for foremen, first line managers, team leaders, and supervisors with supervisory responsibilities and a need to understand their legal duties within the construction industry. This is a one-day refresher of our full Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) course. Passing this course renews your SSSTS certificate. It updates your knowledge of your responsibilities for site safety, health, welfare, and the environment.

Course contents:

• The Health and Safety at Work Act
• Specific site issues that challenge supervisors on a daily basis
• Effective toolbox talks
• Supervision of occupational health
• Behavioural safety

This course is aimed at those who currently hold a valid SSSTS certificate. Delegates must be able to read, write and understand English to attend the course. Photographic ID and the delegates national insurance number must be provided on the first day of the course.

Duration and Assessment

1 Day (Each delegate must be interactive throughout the course and pass a multiple-choice assessment)
