SSSTS (CITB) Refresher - Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme

Who Should Attend:

This course is designed for Supervisors who need to renew their SSSTS qualification before it expires.

Course Contents: 

The course includes:

Refreshing knowledge of the following:

• How health and safety law is structured
• How the supervisory role fits in with the manager’s role in controlling the site safely
• Understanding the need for method statements
• Construction Site Health, Safety and Welfare
• Communication routes within site activity
• Behavioural safety
• Supervision of occupational health

Pre-requisites: 

Delegates must have an in date SSSTS certificate. If the current certificate has already expired, delegates will not be able to sit the refresher, they must sit the full two day course again. 

Certification: 

This course is accredited as part of CITB, Site Safety Plus Safety Training Scheme courses. Upon successful completion, delegates will achieve a SSSTS (CITB) certificate which is valid for 5 years.
