SPA Safety Passport - Core & Mineral Products

Course overview

The two-day MPQC/SPA Safety Passport course is designed to provide basic information and areas of responsibility for health, safety and the environment, as well as concentrating on the risks specifically in the mineral extraction and products industry.

The MPQC/SPA (Mineral Products Qualification Council/Safety Pass Alliance) Safety Passport is an industry-recognised qualification that grants access onto mineral extraction and product sites.

Course Content 

Who Should Attend:

The MPQC/SPA Safety Passport course has been designed for contractors or employees that operate within the extractives, processing and related mineral manufacturing industries.

Assessment:

The MPQC/SPA Safety Passport is assessed with a SPA /MPQC Test Papers at the end of each training session. This comprises a multi-choice question paper based on course material and DVDs.

Certification:

At the end of the two-day course, delegates receive an MPQC/SPA Contractor Safety Passport which will be valid for three years. Delegates will also receive a MPQC Level 2 Award in Understanding Safe Working for Contractors in Extractives and Building Products Industries Sites (QCF).
