The course covers The Health & Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the construction industry and includes

- CDM
- Risk Assessment
- Method Statements
- Scaffolding
- Electricity
- Excavations
- Demolition
- Confined Spaces
Training method:
A highly participative course, with case study exercises for House Building, Civil Engineering, Factories & ancillary buildings, Demolitions, Refurbishment and New Roads & Street Works.
Courses can be arranged to meet client's timetables and work schedules. As an alternative places can be booked onto our open / multi client based courses
Number of delegates:
As little as 1 delegate on our open scheduled courses. In-company courses can be arranged for a minimum or 10 and accommodate a maximum of 20
Course Duration:
8:30 am till 5.00 pm*
Lunch is provided on all courses run at our Training Centre
*Course times will be confirmed in the Joining Instructions once the course is booked.
Please Note:
It is important that delegates ATTEND ALL DAYS of the course which they are booked on.
The CITB / SMSTS will not issue certification unless all day of the course are attended.
The CITB / SMSTS do not permit ‘course jumping’ between courses to facilitate completion.

Please note that as of the 1st January 2016, CITB Site Management / Site Supervisor certificates will no longer have a six month grace period and candidates will need to attend a Refresher course before the expiry date of their original certificate.
