SMSTS Training Refresher (CITB) - Site Management Safety Training Scheme

Who Should Attend: 

Delegates who have previously passed the five day Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), or a previous SMSTS Refresher (2 Day) course in the last five years, and can provide evidence of this are eligible to attend the two-day SMSTS refresher course.

Course Contents: 

The SMSTS Refresher course will cover:

• Relevant legislation affecting safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries.
•  The need for risk assessment in the workplace,
• The implementation of the necessary control measures and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture within the workforce.
• Refreshing knowledge and understanding of previously completed SMSTS full course
  
  

Pre-requisites: 

Delegates must hold an in date SMSTS certificate to attend. If the current certificate has already expired, delegates will need to sit the full five day course again and will not be eligible for the Refresher. 

Certification: 

Upon successful completion, delegates will achieve a CITB SMSTS certificate which is valid for 5 years
