Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course delegates should be able to:
- Understand the changes to Health and Safety legislation – particularly in the construction industry
- Be aware of accident trends and prevention techniques
- Understand the principle of working at height
- Understand the changes to COSHH
- Appreciate the need to be aware of stress related problems
- Devise and use effective communication with the work force
- Manage a site safely in compliance with existing legislation
Who Should Attend:
Those who have previously completed their SMSTS must renew before their current certificate expires.
Pre-requisites:
All delegates must have an in-date SMSTS (CITB) certificate.
