This CITB SiteManagement Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course enables delegates tounderstand the legal, moral, social and welfare responsibilities under thecandidate’s management on sites and gives guidance on how to manage the healthand safety on site in accordance with current legal requirements.

Assessment:
What is SMSTSassessment?
The SMSTS course iscovered in 5 days and it is mandatory for the candidate to attend all 5 days insequential order. This course can be carried out in a 5 day block or 1 day aweek over a 5 week period with each day being approx. 7 hours and typicallystarting at 9am.
This course is classroom based. On successful completion ofthe course a 5 year nationally recognised CITB SMSTS certificate will beawarded.
Renewal:
After 5 years a 2 day Renewal course can be taken but thecandidate must provide a copy of their current and valid 5 day CITB SMSTScertificate as proof to be eligible to attend.
