Course Objectives:It covers all relevant legislation for safe practices in the building, construction and civil engineering industries, outlining the need for risk assessment and good on-site communication within the workplace.
At the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Manage health and safety on site in accordance with current legal provisions and within the context of their own role
- Develop an understanding of their responsibilities and accountabilities
- Recognise that a safe site is efficient, economical and productive.

The course is for individuals responsible for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering a workforce.
Site managers and supervisors, project managers and any other individuals who require an understanding of site health, safety and welfare management.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a CITB accredited certificate which is valid for five years.
Please note that as of the 1st January 2016, CITB Site Management / Site Supervisor certificates will no longer have a six month grace period and candidates will need to attend a Refresher course before the expiry date of their original certificate.

• Reliable internet connection - super fast or fibre optic internet
• Our preferred browser for delegates to use is Google Chrome, however Firefox or Internet explorer will suffice
Please ensure the delegates have the following information with them for the course:
• Delegates will be required to show photographic ID to confirm their identity at the start of the course. Please ensure they have with them a valid CSCS Card, Driving Licence or Passport.
• Delegates are required to have their NI numbers.
• CITB levy payers will need to bring their levy number in order to claim back the attendance grant.
• For Refresher courses - please ensure a copy of the delegates current certificate is emailed through to the training provider no later than 2 working days prior to the course.
The end of course assessment link will be emailed to your delegate on the final day of the course.
