At the end of the course, each individual has to pass a multiple choice test which qualifies them for the Construction Site Managers Safety Certificate
The objectives of the course are to enable delegates to:
- Recognise that a safe site is: Efficient, Economical and Productive
- Demonstrate their skills to contractors and clients
- Identify and avoid potential hazards on site
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments and other statutory requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- It trains each individual in the essential points of Health and Safety and shows them how to measure Health and Safety performance on their own site
- The interactive method of delivery of the course allows for discussion of the subject areas together with the development of risk assessments, methods statements and health and safety plans for construction activities
