Course Objectives
This one day course will provide candidates with an introduction to environmental issues on construction sites. It is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contract chain are required to prove to major contractors. It also covers the environmental aspects of the new HS&E touch screen test.
Who Should Attend?
Those who have Supervisory responsibilities and are in the Construction Industry and are required to prove to their contractors that they have an understanding of their environmental responsibilities.

Course Content
At the end of the course delegates will have gained knowledge and skills in:
- What the environment is and why it is important
- Outline of environmental management systems
- Waste management
- Pollution prevention and water management
- Good neighbour – statutory nuisance, communication
- Archaeology and heritage
- Energy and resources
- Being a responsible contractor
At the end of the course delegates are required to complete a multiple choice assessment paper.
Certification
On successful completion of the course, delegates will receive a CSkills SEATS Certificate that is valid for 5 years.
Online Training
Please note that candidates will require the following:
- A form of photo ID
- A laptop/tablet with camera and fast internet connection
- A quiet room, free from distractions, to complete the course in
