Overview
Our Safety Harness – (Roof Top Safety) Course delivers a minimum of 7 hours (one day) of both theory and hands on practical instruction and assessment, providing delegates with a good understanding of the principles for using Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE) in the workplace.
This course also provides each delegate with a base theoretical knowledge of the work at height regulations required to effectively reduce the risks associated with working at height, the hierarchy of control measures and using personal prevention and protection systems for fall restraint, work positioning and arrest when working on roof tops at height.
This full day is aimed at operatives, managers, supervisors and safety advisors that work or manage the way work at height on roofs is undertaken, taking an indepth look at the working at height regulations 2005 and guidance for work on roofs.
Our Rooftop Safety Training also includes the safe use of fixed and portable ladders. Delegates are taught to select the correct personal protective equipment, carry out pre-use checks on this equipment then fit it correctly.
