Safety Harness & Lanyard Awareness ½ Day

This course is designed for anyone who is required to work at height and involves using the necessary height safety equipment to carry out the task. If you are looking for a greater understanding of how to use the Harness and process safely, then this course is also for you.

Course Objective:

To cover all key subject areas of how to work safely at height with the use of a harness. To enable an individual to effectively comply with duties under Work at Height regulations.

Course Content:

- Safe and unsafe working practices for MEWPS (mobile elevated work platforms) and suspended platforms, roofs, ladders, personal protective equipment, scaffold and mobile access towers.
- Competent person
- Legislation
- Work at height regulations
- Prevention and protection
- Inspections
- Delegate assessment of understanding
