This accreditation aims to give learners knowledge, understanding and basic skills to install cables over low voltage power crossings and the hazards and potential risks involved in working safely with ladders and wooden poles in a telecommunications environment.

Be able to work safely when installing or recovering telecommunications cables crossing above low voltage power lines
Know the emergency and reporting procedures in case of emergency or failure

Pre-requisite
This accreditation is available to anyone over the age of 16 who is capable of reaching the required standard. There are no barriers that restrict access or progression thereby promoting equal opportunity. It is expected however that learners will have a level of literacy adequate to cope with the assessment.
The course either has new dates in data loading, or is only run as a dedicated or In Company course.
