NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations

Who Should Attend:

People who are working in the industry and competent in operating the machinery.

Learner Outcomes:

Is to upgrade their current NPORS or CPCS licences by achieving a Level 2 NVQ in plant operations for the initial red card to the blue competence cards that will then be valid for 5 years

What to Expect:

2-hour induction that will identify all relevant information regarding the NVQ, which entails paperwork for sign up and registering with awarding body. Also underpinning knowledge of plant machinery will be identified. In addition, skill scans to identify correct, additional and mandatory units involved in the qualification. We will also discuss on the induction experience and underpinning knowledge of the candidate and talk about the process and evidence required to obtain the qualification. Which will include a recorded observation on camera completing the candidates preshift and operation checks on the machinery and there will also be a professional discussion on a 1 to 1 with the assessor. The candidate will also need to supply a check sheet, set of RAMS and a witness testimony from a site supervisor/manager.

Pre-requisites:

Delegates must have completed the CSCS Health, Safety & Environmental Test within the past 2 years.

Delegates must also have held the CPCS Red Trained Operators Card or have extensive previous experience and knowledge

Turn around within 8 weeks, depending on the accessibility to the site and readily available machinery
