NRSWA - New Roads & Street Works Training - Operative Re-assessment

Your Street Works card is valid for five years, as from April 2011 you will have needed to take a reassessment course to enable you to carry on working on the highways.

A reassessment can be sat up to 6 months prior to the card expiry date.

In the 6 month grace period the City and Guilds certificate has to be applied for, upon receipt by the centre the application is then made to SWQR for your new card. As the time scales for renewal are crucial we would suggest a candidate does not leave the expiry past 5 months or the centre will not be able to guarantee to get the process completed.

Each unit sat for reassessment contains 10 multiple choice questions, a pass requires a minimum of 8 correct answers per unit paper.

You can only be assessed on the units that you currently hold.

On successful completion of the above you will receive your new card approximately 6 weeks after your course date.
