Course Dates

The NRSWA Streetworks full award supervisor qualification ensures all work on roads and infrastructure in the UK is carried out to the highest standard possible and meets all requirements of current regulations.

Upon completion of this course, all delegates will have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out Streetworks to New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 regulations.

Course Units:

Unit 1: Location & avoidance of underground apparatus.
Unit 10: Monitoring signing, lighting & guarding.
Unit 11: Monitoring excavation in the highway.
Unit 12: Monitoring reinstatement and compaction of backfill materials.
Unit 13: Monitoring reinstatement of sub-base & road-base in non-bituminous materials.
Unit 14: Monitoring reinstatement in bituminous materials.
Unit 16: Monitoring reinstatement of modular surfaces and concrete footways

Assessment:

At the end of the each unit candidates will take a multiple-choice examination with results given on the day.

Certification:

After successful completion of the course you will get a streetworks card showing the units you completed and your competence to work on the roads. Your NRSWA card is valid for 5 years.
