NPORS Course (N403) - Vehicle Banksman/Marshall Course

This course is tailored to your requirements and can be held at either your site or at our training centres.

Learning Outcomes

• Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as a vehicle marshal
• Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer's handbook for the particular vehicle/machine to be used
• Have a good understanding of signs and signals, approved hand signals and different forms of communication
• Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for vehicle marshal
• Conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area
• Set up exclusion zone for unloading
• Guide vehicle/machinery in a forward and reverse direction including confined spaces and blind spots maintaining full visual contact
• Environmental considerations
• Carry out all end of work and shut down procedures

Assessment

NPORS practical and theory tests.

Certification

Upon successful completion, candidates will be issued with a NPORS Operator's card.
