Course Overview:
NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing, a new one-day introductory qualification from NEBOSH, will give managers the skills to help them proactively and effectively influence employee wellbeing.
Research shows that organisations which implement wellbeing initiatives can gain a huge range of benefits such as increased employee satisfaction, productivity, resilience and morale as well as reduced staff turnover, sickness, accidents and injuries.
Working with Wellbeing has been holistically developed to support a person’s overall wellbeing and learners will explore the NEBOSH Wellbeing Tree which covers six key areas: interaction, exercise, mindfulness, nutrition, kindness and learning. These themes bring together the latest research and thinking from leading organisations and experts so that managers can take away and implement initiatives that are proven to work.
Learning is built throughout the course from what wellbeing is and why it matters to benefits, practical interventions and measurement. The course culminates with the development of an intervention plan so that learners can return to the workplace with tools to implement straight away, bringing immediate benefits to their employees.
