This is a replacement qualification for the NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
Unit ND3 – Do – controlling workplace safety issues
Element C1: Workplace welfare requirements and specific workplace issues
Element C2: Fire and explosion
Element C3: Workplace fire risk assessment
Element C4: The storage, handling and processing of dangerous substances
Element C5: Work equipment
Element C6: Workplace machinery
Element C7: Mobile, lifting, access and work at height equipment
Element C8: Electrical safety
Element C9: Construction and works of a temporary nature – hazards and controls
Element C10: Workplace transport and managing work-related road risk
Assessment
Each assessment is a substantial undertaking. NEBOSH anticipate that it will take you around 60 hours to complete the ND1 assignment and 40 hours each for the ND2 and ND3 case studies. The time-period given for you to complete each assessment reflects this:
Unit ND1: 6 weeks (30 working days)
Unit ND2: 4 weeks (20 working days)
Unit ND3: 4 weeks (20 working days)
There will be two opportunities every year to complete each assessment,
All assessments will be checked via Turnitin plagiarism software and learners will be required to have a closing interview after each assessment.
