Relevant regulations/legislation/guidance
Duties of employees and employers
Introduction to manual handling
Principles of good movement
Types and causes of injury caused by poor manual handling
Anatomy of the body, including upper and lower limbs and the spine
Identifying the Task, Individual, Load, Environment (T.I.L.E) as part of a suitable and sufficient Risk Assessment
Mechanical aids and their usage
Practical application of lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying a range of objects
