Course Content:

- Understanding good machine safety
- Avoidance of injuries
- Recognition of potentially dangerous abrasive wheel operations.
- Safe use of machines

The aim of this course is to provide staff with sufficient knowledge to use and maintain abrasive wheel equipment safely.

On successful completion of this course you will be able to:

- Demonstrate a high level of theoretical knowledge in terms of work equipment safety
- Appreciate the importance of use the equipment safely
- Display a high level of skill in following safe operating procedures
- To show a good understanding of the regulations relating to machine safety
- Be able to understand the principals of machine maintenance

This course is classroom based with the use of PowerPoint presentation and delegate handouts.

Certification:
