The SIA Door Supervisor Level 2 is a course that is attended to allow you to gain your SIA license. The qualification will allow you to legally conduct your work in the private security industry.

Stewards, Events Staff, Security Guards, Static Guards, Door Men/Women, Door Supervisors & Security Officers.
Course Objectives
By the end of the SIA Door Supervisor Level 2 training, the delegate will then be able to work as Door Supervisor in a range of industries/workplaces including:
- Pubs, bars and clubs
- Restaurants and food establishments
- Warehouses
- Retail
- Office building
Course Content
The SIA Course is separated into 4 different classroom-based modules.
Module 1: The Private Security Industry
The common security industry knowledge unit will cover:
- The law surrounding the private security industry
- Health & safety for security workers
- Fire safety
- Emergency procedures
- Customer care and Communication skills
Module 2: Working as a Door Supervisor
The Door Supervisor specialist module will cover:
- Behavioural standards
- Criminal and civil law
- Searching
- Arrest
- Drug awareness
- Crime scene preservation and Recording incidents
- Licensing law
- Emergency procedures
Module 3: Conflict Management
Unit 3 covers the following topics:
- Reducing personal risk and avoiding conflict
- Defusing conflict
- Learning from and resolving conflict
- Applying your conflict management and communication skills
Module 4: Physical Intervention
- Introduction into physical intervention
- Disengagement
- Escorting
What is Required to Pass the SIA Door Supervisor course?
Delegates must complete three multiple choice exams throughout the four days and a physical intervention assessment which assessed by the trainer on the day of module 4.
Entry Requirements
Delegates need to be a minimum age of 18 years old to attend the course.
