Course Content:
The IPAF Harness Course delivers a minimum of 4 hours instruction and provide delegates with the vital information and understanding on how to use safety harnesses and lanyards when using a range of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPS). It also covers skills such as the selection and pre-inspection of the equipment.
Who Should Attend?
The IPAF Harness Course is suitable for anyone in an organisation that use, supervise or manage the use of MEWPS and needs to be made aware of the correct selection, inspection and use of safety harnesses to prevent falls.
Delivery Method: Classroom based training and assessment in the use of Safety Harnesses for MEWPs.
Award: Each successful delegate will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training (valid for 5 years).
The IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) certification is an internationally recognised qualification for use of such machinery.
