Objectives

Identification of appropriate protection equipment and use, correct condition and fitting of harness are examined within the course which covers a range of MEWPs.

- Introduction: overview of course legislation
- Definition of work at heights categories
- Suitable harnesses for MEWPs
- Correct fitting and adjustment of a full body harness
- Selection of lanyard
- Inertia devices: functions, operation and requirements
- Suitable anchorage points
- CE certification, conformity and record keeping
- Harness inspection
- Achievement testing
- Course review and close
