Aims
This course is aimed at raising awareness of the way that your business activities
could be damaging the environment, and giving you a start on the process of
reducing that damage and possibly saving or earning yourself money as a result.
Objectives
At the end of the course each delegate should be able to:
Explain the effects of environmental legislation on your business
Analyse the impact of your business on the environment
Implement and monitor measures to improve your environmental performance
Examine the disposal of waste from your site and look for ways of saving or earning money
Apply the principles of an environmental management system such as BSEN ISO 14001
