Summary
Directing Safely for small to medium sized enterprises aims to ensure that health and safety is appreciated by people at the most senior levels. The course should enable executives to review policy and strategies and, where necessary, introduce changes to enhance the safety culture within their organisation.
Who Should Attend?
This course is intended for people with strategic responsibility for determining and implementing effective health and safety management within an organisation. The term small and medium enterprise applies to organisations with fewer than 250 employees.
Course Content
Delegates will receive detailed training and on completion will:
- Have an appreciation of health and safety at the most senior level;
- Be able to review policy and strategies and where necessary, introduce changes to make their organisation operate more safely;
- Gain a greater understanding of accident causation, prevention and the cost of absence through illness and legislative penalties related to Health and Safety legislation.
On Completion
Assessments are carried out throughout the day and all delegates who successfully complete this course are issued with IOSH certificates.
